"Religion and youth: a step towards a secure future."
On January 15, 2025, an educational event on the theme "Religion and youth: a step towards a secure future" was held for first-year students. The purpose of the event is to increase religious literacy among young people, prevent destructive religious movements and form a conscious, critical view on issues of faith and spiritual values. The event was attended by Deputy Director for Educational Work B. B. Yelakinova, Talgar district theologian Abdi Adilet, as well as Maria Sermekhanova, a specialist at the Youth Resource Center. During the meeting, a meaningful dialogue with the students took place in an open format. Educational comics were presented to the participants and the video "Unnecessary Knowledge" was shown, after which additional explanatory work was carried out on the topic under discussion.
