As part of the Year of Working Professions, the Talgar College of Agribusiness and Management hosted the conference "The World of Professions of the Talgar district" with the participation of Kalzhanov Aidos Ermekuly, Director of the Talgar district branch of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Almaty region.Young specialists from three colleges located in Talgar exchanged experiences and knowledge about their professions, presenting them in the format of videos and presentations. Following the results of the conference, Talgar Polytechnic College became the winner in the "Best Presentation" nomination, Talgar College of Agribusiness and Management — in the "Best Creative Team" nomination, and Talgar Higher Medical College — in the "Best Video" nomination.

From April 23 to April 25, 2025, the Almaty region hosted the WorldSkills Qonaev-2025 regional championship, organized by the Department of Education as part of the Year of Working Professions. The main objective of the championship was not only to increase the prestige of working professions, but also to give young professionals the opportunity to develop practical skills and obtain qualifications in demand in the modern labor market. The students of Talgar College of Agribusiness and Management demonstrated a high level of training by winning prizes. In terms of competence "Body repair", Zhaqypbayev Daniyar took 1st place (master - Abdish Nurshat), in terms of competence "Passenger car maintenance", Askarbek Beknur also took 1st place (teacher - Bozymbekov Kayrat), in terms of competence "IT solutions for business" Rashitov Ramil, a 2nd year student, took 3rd place (teacher Tarakov Denesh), Mamirov Amir took the 2nd place in the competence of "Mobile application development", and Smazhanov Ilham - 3rd place (teacher Alpysbaeva Aigul), in the competence of "Network and system administration" Nurbakyt Alimzhan received a certificate (teacher - Amenova Mereke).
