Teachers of the Department of Languages and Social Disciplines held an event dedicated to the celebration of the Russian winter – Maslenitsa in the lobby of the Talgar College of Agribusiness and Management. The hosts of the festival told the audience how Maslenitsa Week was celebrated in Russia. The participants got acquainted with folk rituals and customs, the history of the name of the holiday. The students learned that each day of Shrovetide week has its own name and its own celebration customs, and also took part in the organization of the Shrovetide table "Tablecloth-samobranka". The holiday turned out to be bright and memorable.

Under the guidance of teachers of Talgar College of Agribusiness and Management Tokayeva D. E. and Bekbaeva S. S., college students held a festive event on the theme "Ardakty Ana, Asyl Zhar, Asem Aru", dedicated to International Women's Day on March 8.  All those present were warmly congratulated on the holiday of spring, love and hope by the director of the college Bozymbekova Dinara Bolarbekovna, who presented certificates of honor from the regional trade union organization, the akim of Talgar city and the college administration. Vocal performances, dance compositions and national dance presented a wonderful festive mood to the teachers of our college.  A sense of celebration and good mood prevailed in the hall throughout the event.

Within the framework of the decade of the Department of Languages and Social Disciplines on the topic "Til men tarikh egiz", on February 27, the action "Kazaksha soyleimiz" was held at the Talgar College of Agribusiness and Management. The students answered quiz questions on the subject "Kazakh language", got acquainted with electronic books, played national Kazakh games: "Togyzkumalak", "Assik".

The English teacher of Talgar College of Agribusiness and Management Bekpaeva Shynar Serikkyzy held an open lesson for 1st year students on the topic "Reading for pleasure" within the framework of the decade of the department "Languages and Social Disciplines" on the topic "Til men tarikh egiz".
